Lately life is fast and hitting me hard...but as i stand in place, close my eyes, and focus on nothing but the music spitting from the speakers on my small but appreciated TV I can almost believe I'm happy. That time isn't inevitably moving forward, leaving me in the dust, dazed and confused...wondering what can I do or what do I have to do to be happy. So for now I stand silent, listening to the notes carrying my worry away and I pretend that you're here now, not in my confusing, unknowing future...for that brief moment i can be happy.

In this world I see life...
It's sudden and bright.
Every thing is confusing...
unknowing...
annoying...
Growing taller and wiser but
the brightness dims...
my life slows and quickens
all over again...

Goodbyes are much more painful,
While love is so much
sweeter...
And all the while my life is crawling
